What is the difference between Acro & Gymnastics?
In short, gymnastics is a sport and Acro is an artform. In Acro, we teach our students to dance into and out of Acro tricks, with minimal obvious “prep” before and after a trick. Despite being technically difficult to execute, acrobatic tricks are meant to blend in seamlessly with dance steps, providing an extra level of excitement and flair to dance choreography.I placed a custom order (t-shirt, jacket, shoes, etc) in your store, how long will you hold it for me?

There are no refunds on custom orders. My daughter is in the after-school program and I’d like her to participate in the parade. However, I didn’t realize I had to purchase a uniform and poms for her. What do I need to purchase and why wasn’t it included in the enrollment fee?
If your daughter is performing in the Thanksgiving Parade or Cherry Blossom Parade, she will need a POM Varsity Jacket ($40) and the pink poms ($28). If your daughter is performing in the Memorial Day Parade or Independence Day Parade she will need the Stars Tank ($22) and the pink poms ($28). You don’t need to buy any of the other items in the store, unless you want to! We don’t include these items in the enrollment fee because returning students already own these items and sometimes girls are unable to attend the parade since they typically fall around major holidays. Are dance classes tax deductible?
Dance Camp – When dance classes are also part of your child’s summer care, they’re deductible as child care with the IRS. The children participating in the programs must be under the age of 13; the children must be enrolled in the program during hours when the custodial parent is looking for work or is working; and the facility conducting the enrichment program must be a licensed and accredited educational facility. (Camp License #15-YC-12707)
Dance Classes - Under normal circumstances, a dance class offered at a dance studio would not be considered a tax-deductible expense. However, the sales tax you pay on shoes, dance clothes, and any materials related to your child’s dance classes may be deductible. Save your receipts.
Donations - Any time your child takes part in a fundraising opportunity to help the community, you may deduct your donations. P.O.M. Squad is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a goal to service children from economically challenged households. Any donations made to P.O.M. Squad can be written off. (Tax ID: 46-5562168)
